Responsibilities Tutor in 10th grade math (e.g., Geometry, Algebra II) and help with homework, test prep, and gaps from earlier courses Support English coursework: reading comprehension, literary analysis, essay structure, grammar, and revising drafts Help him stay on top of his assignments by reviewing upcoming due dates, checking that work is completed and turned in, and following up on anything missing or late Help with organization, time management, and study strategies Prepare for quizzes, tests, and finals Give brief progress updates to the family (e.g., a short note after each session or weekly) Qualifications Strong command of high school math and English Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience preferred Current college student, recent graduate, or teacher welcome Patient, encouraging, and able to explain concepts in more than one way Dependable and punctual

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 - 4.0 per week
