In-Person SAT/ACT & Academic Tutor — $30+/Hour Personalized Prep | Costa Mesa, CA

IMPORTANT

This is an in-person position. Personalized Prep is hiring high-performing tutors to work with students at our office in Costa Mesa, California . Applicants must have reliable transportation to and from our office and consistent availability during our primary tutoring hours of 2:00 PM-9:00 PM on weekdays , with additional weekend availability as needed. The Role Personalized Prep is a college preparatory tutoring company specializing in SAT, ACT, AP, and general academic tutoring. We handle client acquisition, scheduling, billing, and curriculum. Your focus is on showing up prepared, connecting with students, and delivering excellent educational outcomes. Responsibilities Deliver one-on-one SAT, ACT, AP, and/or general academic tutoring Explain complex math, reading, writing, grammar, and other academic concepts in simple, accessible language Build supportive and trusting relationships with students and their families Arrive prepared and on time for every scheduled session Communicate reliably with our team regarding student progress, needs, and concerns What We're Looking For Strong academic performance: SAT/ACT tutors must have scored 1400+ on the SAT or 30+ on the ACT. Academic and AP tutors should demonstrate strong subject-matter expertise.
