The Job:

We are seeking enthusiastic instructors who specialize in tutoring math and science to all students. Proficiency with classes like Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre- Calculus, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and/or Calculus are a must. The ability to tutor SAT/ACT is a bonus, but not a requirement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Coaching and guiding students to meet their academic goals Tutoring multiple subjects effectively Strengthening students' study habits and identifying how each student learns best Motivating students who need that extra oomph Working with up to three students at a time Being engaging, nimble, and professional Keeping detailed records of tutoring sessions Attending team meetings and other Tutoring Club events

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Previous tutoring experience not required Reliable transportation Ability to work SOME of the following: Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm and Saturday from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm Founded in 1991, Tutoring Club is an education center built on the idea of providing long- term, individualized academic assistance to students of all ages and abilities.
