You will travel to students' homes or nearby public spaces (libraries, coffee shops) to provide one-on-one or small-group sessions in AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and/or AP Physics. This position is a great fit for working professionals seeking supplemental income outside of typical 9-5 hours, or for students looking for a flexible part-time role. Applicants with direct AP coursework experience as a student, or prior experience teaching or tutoring AP-level science, are strongly preferred. Responsibilities Deliver engaging one-on-one or small-group AP science tutoring sessions at students' homes or community locations. Assess individual student needs and design tailored lesson plans aligned with AP Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics curricula and exam preparation. Adapt instructional strategies to different learning styles, including students with special education needs. Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other educational stakeholders to track progress and refine approaches. Maintain accurate records of session content, student progress, and upcoming objectives.
