We are looking for individuals who are passionate about education and enjoy helping students build confidence, improve academic performance, and develop effective study habits. Tutors will provide one-on-one or semi-private instruction in subjects such as Math, English Language Arts, Reading, Science, and Homework Support. Responsibilities Provide individualized tutoring for K-12 students Assist students with homework, test preparation, and study skills Create engaging and supportive learning experiences Track student progress and communicate with parents and staff as needed Maintain a professional, positive, and encouraging learning environment Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled sessions Qualifications Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in a college/university preferred Strong academic background in one or more core subjects Previous tutoring, teaching, or educational experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with children and teens of various ages and learning styles Reliable transportation Must pass a background check Preferred Qualifications Teaching credential or teaching experience Experience working with homeschool and charter school students Ability to tutor multiple subjects and grade levels Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications Flexible scheduling Supportive and professional work environment Opportunities for growth and additional teaching assignments Schedule Part-time After-school and evening hours available Weekday and Saturday opportunities About Us Applause Music Academy & Learning Center has been serving Southern California families since 2018.
