Our mission is to instill core values and strengthen both academic and life skills in young individuals. Summary We are seeking a passionate Tutor to join our team at I'm A Movement Not A Monument. In this role, you will provide educational support and mentorship to youth, helping them develop essential skills for academic success and personal growth. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in various subjects to enhance students' understanding. Develop personalized learning plans that cater to the individual needs of each student. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation. Assist students with homework assignments and exam preparation to improve their academic performance. Utilize educational technology and resources to facilitate effective learning experiences. Collaborate with other staff members to design and implement youth development programs. Requirements Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly in a non-profit or educational setting. Strong understanding of special education practices is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs. Familiarity with classroom management techniques is a plus.
