We provide free mentoring and youth development programs that focus on building core values and strengthening both academic and life skills. Summary We are seeking a passionate Tutor to join our team at I'm A Movement Not A Monument. In this role, you will work directly with youth to enhance their educational experience and support their personal growth. Your contributions will be vital in helping students develop essential skills for success. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in various subjects. Develop engaging lesson plans that cater to the individual learning needs of each student. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment. Communicate regularly with students and their families about progress and areas for improvement. Assist in the development of educational materials and resources for youth programs. Support students with special needs by adapting teaching methods as necessary. Requirements Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students and families. Experience in childcare or working with children in an educational setting. Familiarity with curriculum development and learning technologies is a plus. Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain student engagement. Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds is preferred.
