ESL Tutor CSIE Education Consulting LLC La Mesa, CA Job Details Contract $25 - $35 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Teaching experience with English language learners (ELLs) English English language learner (ELL) student support Adult learning Adult language education Full Job Description We are seeking a patient and personable ESL English Tutor to work with an adult learner in La Mesa. The student is a parent whose child attends school during the day, so lessons will take place in person during daytime hours . The primary goal is to build confidence and fluency in spoken English and everyday communication . Responsibilities Provide 1-on-1 conversational English instruction Practice speaking and listening through real-life situations and discussions Help improve pronunciation, vocabulary, and conversational confidence Adapt lessons to the student's level and practical communication needs Provide a friendly, supportive, and engaging learning environment Qualifications Fluent English speaker with clear pronunciation Previous ESL or English teaching/tutoring experience preferred Patient, friendly, and comfortable working with adult learners Reliable and able to commit to a consistent weekday schedule Must be able to provide in-person instruction in La Mesa Schedule & Compensation 4-5 days per week 2-3 hours per session Daytime/weekday availability $25-$45/hour , depending on experience and qualifications
