Job Description

We are a fast-growing tutoring company in the South Bay. We are looking for tutors at our Belmont Shore location to start this fall, and work for the entire school year. Our tutoring centers are geared toward having a comfortable, relaxed environment in which students receive individual attention. Students range from middle school to high school, and we tutor all subjects as well as the SAT, ACT, and other standardized tests. Our approach is unique in that we cater to the specific needs of the local community, and we provide an environment that is casual, fun, and cool.
Qualifications:
Enthusiastic attitude Outgoing personality Organizational and Academic skills Emotional Intelligence Excellent communication skills with both children and adults Prior tutoring experience preferred but not required
Requirements:
Available until 9pm at least 2 days during the week (Mon - Thur) Well-versed in a minimum of two academic subjects up to the college level •Our highest levels of need are in the areas of advanced mathematics, biology, chemistry, and Spanish.•All of our tutors love working here! Our environment is fun, light-hearted, and open, while we maintain a professional attitude. We are open-minded in terms of background, and encourage all to apply regardless of education and prior experience. We look forward to getting to know you!

What zip code would you be commuting in from? While you don't need to be a Math Wiz to work here, most of our students require at least SOME help with math. What is the highest level of math you would feel comfortable tutoring? Are you able to tutor Spanish? If so, through what level are you comfortable tutoring?
