Job Description

We are looking for dedicated tutors to join our team. We are actively seeking proficient Math and Science Tutors with expertise in a broad range of subjects, including but not limited to Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Calculus. The selected candidate will play a vital role in guiding our students to reach their highest academic potential.
Responsibilities:
Coach and guide students to meet their academic goals Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to provide personalized instruction and guidance in various subjects Provide homework help, exam preparation, and study strategies to help students achieve academic success Track and monitor student progress, identifying areas for improvement and adapting instruction to meet student needs Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, including student progress and feedback Motivating students who need that extra oomph Attend team meetings and other Tutoring Club events
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, subject-specific field, or currently enrolled in a degree program leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university. (Required) Strong subject matter knowledge in relevant areas, such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics, and/or Calculus. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Superb interpersonal skills and creativity to engage students in a way they can understand. Ability to adapt instruction to meet the needs of individual students. Previous experience tutoring students is preferred. (Preferred)
