It helps at-risk teens (ages 16-18) recover high school credits, develop leadership and life skills, and get back on track for graduation.

Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-3:00PM 30 hours per week Start date: Mid-August End date: Mid-December with the potential to work into 2027 Job Highlights Pay rate: $24-25 based on experience Bilingual in Spanish is preferred Qualifications and Skills Being that this job is for a high-security military installation, a thorough background will be completed Minimum of 60 units of college credits with a minimum of 2-3 year of tutoring experience in Math Proficiency in high level math as tutoring is for high school students (Pre-Algebra - Pre-Calculus/Math Analysis) The tutor will work inside the classroom in a co-teaching model as a partner with a fully credentialed teacher. Teaching or tutoring certification preferred but not required Strong communication skills Detail-oriented and highly dependable Ability to communicate effectively Motivation and passion to help students achieve academic excellence Must have reliable transportation for in-person tutoring. If driving, proof of insurance for your vehicle is needed Must provide a negative tuberculosis test (valid within the last 2 years) Please provide a copy of any certification you hold such as a Teacher's Credential/Certification or Tutor Certification National Tutoring Association certification available to StudentNest tutors
