About the student adult student The student wants to work with a tutor for his Intro to Photoshop class and build on his photography skills. The student has ASD and ADHD and is enrolled in an introductory college-level photoshop course starting in August. He is new to camera equipment and is not yet familiar with camera settings or functions. He needs structured support to learn photography basics from the ground up, stay organized, and keep up with weekly coursework. All assignments are due on Saturdays, and he is currently working on two assignments already. The student's goal is to build foundational photography skills, understand camera operation, and stay on track with assignments throughout the term. Be a freelance photographer The student is asking for 1 hour sessions 2 times a week, between 9am-7pm, any day Monday through Sunday. The student is seeking a tutor who can meet in person. He would prefer to meet at his home in the outskirts of Meadow Vista but he is also open to meeting with a tutor at Sierra College at 5100 Sierra College Blvd. in Rocklin if that works better.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
PHOT 0075 Introduction toPhotoshop Units:
3, Also known as AAD 75 Introduction to the acquisition and computer enhancements of digital images for design and photography. Analysis and critique of images from initial concept to final project creation. Basic scanning, image adjustments, retouching, compositing, and file preparation for printing and other uses. Qualifications Ideal candidates have prior experience working with adults. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching/tutoring students withASD & ADHD.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience tutoring special needs students. Ideal candidates will have a strong photoshop & photography skills. Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles) Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.Availability MON-SUN:
9:00am-7:00pm (If tutor wants to meet at Sierra College in Rocklin, the availability will be 9am-5pm every day. Pay & Benefits $20.00- 28.00+ per hour Flexible schedule
