After School Math Tutor Launchpad Learning•1.0 Orinda, CA Job Details Part-time $17•$22 an hour 6 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Geometry Full Job Description Position Overview The Part-Time Tutor position delivers academic support mainly in math to elementary and middle school students from first to sixth grade. We are looking for tutors with a passion for educating and mentoring and a love for math. Help and support students learn to love math through simple and clear explanations. This is an ideal role for math emphasis majors, education majors, aspiring teachers, graduate students, or those passionate about math and youth development. Key Responsibilities Conduct structured tutoring sessions with up to 5 students (warm-up, new concept instruction, guided practice, independent work) Reinforce mastery by asking students to explain concepts in their own words Provide alternative explanations when students struggle Differentiate instruction based on student needs Maintain, track and review student information prior to and after sessions Qualifications Bachelor's degree in progress or completed We will consider rising high school seniors with strong math competency Strong competency in math through Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry Excellent interpersonal skills Experience working with children (preferred) Training & Support We will provide onboarding and training so you succeed as a tutor. We will supply all necessary curriculum and lesson materials. Tutors will also receive ongoing instructional coaching and feedback for growth. There will be performance bonuses and paths to promotion as Lead Tutor roles. Schedule (flexible 2-4 days/week)

PM Friday:
2:30 PM•5:00
PM Saturday:
