Tutors will work with students ranging from elementary school through high school in both home and school settings . We are looking for tutors who are confident working with students in Math and/or English Language Arts (ELA) and who can adapt their instruction to meet the individual needs of each student. Responsibilities Provide individualized academic tutoring to students in elementary, middle, and/or high school Support students in Math, English Language Arts, reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension Assist with homework, class assignments, skill development, and test preparation Work with multiple students and families as assigned Provide tutoring in students' homes and/or school settings Develop positive relationships with students and families Adjust teaching strategies based on each student's academic level and learning needs Communicate professionally with parents/guardians regarding student progress and areas for continued support Maintain reliable attendance and arrive prepared and on time for scheduled sessions Qualifications Experience tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or working with school-age students Strong knowledge of Math and/or ELA Ability to work effectively with students from elementary through high school Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, responsible, and professional Patient and comfortable working with students with different learning styles and academic needs Ability to work independently in home and school environments Bachelor's degree, teaching credential, or relevant educational experience preferred but not required Ideal Candidate The ideal tutor is someone who is dependable, patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping students succeed . We are especially interested in tutors who can build rapport with students while maintaining a professional and structured learning environment. Experience with students receiving special education services or with IEPs is a plus. About Rose's Tutoring Rose's Tutoring provides individualized academic support designed to help students build their skills, confidence, and independence . Our tutors work directly with students and families to provide personalized instruction based on each student's needs.
