Job Description
Math Tutor Our Math Learning Center is seeking qualified math tutors to tutor students in grades 1-12. All tutoring is conducted within our learning center Monday through Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings leveraging our customize curriculum and teaching methods. Online and on-the-job training will be provided to all candidates. The key areas of responsibility include: Tutor students in small group settings on math topics Work closely with students to help them with math worksheets, homework, and test preparations Learn and utilize our teaching methods to work with students to strengthen math skills Support the center with admin, office and cleaning tasks These individuals will possess the following qualifications and requirements: BS degree in STEM field Individuals excelling in math courses Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred Experience working and teaching kids ages 8 - 17 Excellent communication skills and tons of patience Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
