Rising Tide Prep is building a small, high-performing team of exceptional SAT, ACT, and PSAT tutors at our new flagship La Jolla studio. We combine elite 1:1 instruction, personalized study plans, advanced diagnostic assessments, and progress reporting to provide students and families with a better test-preparation experience. We're looking for smart, engaging, reliable tutors who want more than an occasional tutoring gig. What You'll Do Deliver personalized SAT, ACT, and PSAT instruction, primarily in 90-minute sessions Specialize in Math, Reading/Writing, or both Analyze diagnostic results and develop targeted learning strategies Teach test-taking techniques, time management, and confidence Track student progress and complete accurate parent-facing session reports Follow Rising Tide Prep's teaching standards and curriculum Who We're Looking For Strong knowledge of SAT/ACT content Excellent communication skills and an engaging teaching style Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred Bachelor's degree completed or in progress preferred SAT score of 1500+ or ACT score of 34+ is a plus, not a strict requirement Dependable, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic about working with high-school students Available some afternoons, evenings, or weekends What Rising Tide Provides We handle curriculum, assessments, scheduling systems, student acquisition, parent communications, and administrative support so you can focus on teaching.
