Duties Deliver engaging, interactive SAT preparation lessons focused on English reading comprehension and writing skills Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student needs Utilize various learning technologies and digital tools to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement Assess student progress regularly through practice tests, assignments, and feedback sessions Provide clear instruction on essay writing, grammar, vocabulary, and critical reading strategies Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create an inclusive, supportive environment for diverse learners Collaborate with students to set achievable goals and track their improvement over time Qualifications Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English Reading & Writing at the high school or adult education level Strong knowledge of the SAT exam structure, question types, and effective test-taking strategies Excellent presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly Familiarity with learning technology tools used for remote or in-person instruction Demonstrated classroom management skills that foster a positive learning atmosphere Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for standardized test preparation Ability to work effectively with students of varying skill levels, including those with special education needs Strong writing skills with an eye for detail and clarity in instruction and feedback
