We are looking for someone with strong SAT Reading & Writing expertise who can explain concepts clearly, identify student weaknesses, and help students improve both skills and test performance. Responsibilities Teach in-person SAT Reading & Writing classes and/or small-group sessions. Prepare students for the current Digital SAT Reading & Writing section. Teach reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary in context, rhetoric, and test-taking strategies. Identify student strengths and gaps and provide targeted instruction. Review SAT practice questions and explain correct answers and common distractors clearly. Track student progress and provide feedback when needed. Maintain an engaging, structured, and supportive classroom environment. Follow established SAT curriculum and instructional standards. Qualifications Strong knowledge of the current Digital SAT Reading & Writing section. 2+ years of SAT or test-prep teaching/tutoring experience. Strong English grammar, reading, and writing skills. Able to explain concepts clearly and help students improve SAT performance. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Reliable and able to work consistently on-site. Able to commit to after-school and/or weekend teaching hours . Experience with a test-prep company, tutoring center, or education organization preferred.
Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
