Homeschool Tutor

Please only apply if you have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent students in a formal educational setting. We are seeking a Neurodivergent Homeschool Tutor to support K-12 students in a personalized, home-based learning environment. This role goes beyond traditional tutoring. It combines targeted academic instruction with homeschool planning, structure, and ongoing support for students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, ASD, and other forms of neurodivergence. The ideal candidate is an experienced educator who can both deliver high-quality instruction and help design and guide a student's homeschool experience in collaboration with their family.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide highly personalized, one-on-one academic instruction tailored to each student's unique learning profile Design and implement weekly homeschool learning plans (curriculum, pacing, and structure) aligned with student needs and goals Support students in building independence, executive functioning skills, and confidence within a homeschool setting Adapt instruction using evidence-based, neurodiverse-affirming approaches (e.g., structured literacy, EF strategies, multisensory learning) Collaborate closely with parents to ensure clarity, consistency, and ease in the homeschool process Track progress and adjust plans to ensure meaningful academic growth

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience working with neurodivergent K-12 students Experience with homeschooling, curriculum development, or individualized learning plans strongly preferred Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to balance structure with flexibility in a dynamic, home-based learning environment
