Job Description

Advanced Math Tutor Brain Builders Tutoring Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Advanced Math Tutor to support students across various educational levels. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mathematics and related sciences, with the ability to develop engaging curriculum, utilize learning technology effectively, and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic success while working in a dynamic educational environment. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in advanced mathematics topics including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Differential Equations, etc. Develop and customize lesson plans tailored to individual student learning styles and academic goals. Utilize modern learning technology and educational software to enhance instruction and engagement. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help improve their understanding and performance. Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student development. Foster a positive learning environment. Skills Strong expertise in advanced mathematics including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Differential Equations, etc. Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to various educational levels. Proficiency with learning technology tools and educational software platforms. Excellent tutoring skills with experience working with preteens, teenagers, and adult learners. Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively across different age groups and skill levels. Additional Information Prior experience with 6-12 Math required Preferred availability: 3:30-8:00 PM (4-10 hours/week) 1099 Independent Contractor (LLC encouraged, not required) Background check required if not currently licensed Licensed or formerly licensed teachers and substitutes are highly encouraged to apply.
