Position:
Part-Time French TutorA private family in Greenwich, Connecticut is seeking a warm, energetic, and engaging French Tutor to work with their 2-year-old and 4-year-old one afternoon per week from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM.The family is looking for someone who can introduce and strengthen the children's French-language skills through a fun, immersive, and age-appropriate approach. At these ages, the focus should be on making French a natural and enjoyable part of their environment rather than traditional classroom-style instruction. ideal candidate will incorporate French throughout the session using conversation, songs, books, games, storytelling, crafts, imaginative play, and other hands-on activities.
Responsibilities:
Introduce and reinforce conversational French. Encourage age-appropriate vocabulary and proper pronunciation. Create engaging activities appropriate for both a 2-year-old and 4-year-old.

Incorporate French into songs, stories, games, crafts, and play. Adapt activities to each child's developmental level and attention span. Encourage the children to become comfortable understanding and speaking French. Keep sessions positive, interactive, and enjoyable. Provide parents with occasional feedback regarding progress.
Ideal Candidate:
Native or fluent French speaker. Previous experience teaching, tutoring, or working with young children .Early childhood education or teaching experience is a plusWarm, patient, playful, creative, and engaging Comfortable working with two different developmental ages. Reliable and punctual Interested in a consistent, long-term position with the family.
Schedule:
One consistent weekday per week, 3:00 PM-5:00 PM. The specific day can be mutually agreed upon.
Compensation:
Competitive and based on experience.
Pay:
$50.00 - $150.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 per week
