MUST HAVE A DEGREE IN ELEMENTARY EDUCATION
We are seeking dedicated and passionate elementary tutors to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment for students, encouraging their academic and social development. This role requires creativity, patience, and a commitment to enhancing the educational experience of children in a one-on-one setting. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Utilize learning technology to enhance instruction and student engagement. Create a supportive atmosphere that promotes positive behavior and respect. Assess student progress through various methods, including tests, projects, and observations. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers regarding student performance and needs. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and special education requirements. Collaborate with fellow educators to develop curriculum and share best practices. Provide tutoring support for students needing additional assistance in specific subjects. Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education ; teaching certification optional. Commitment to one entire school year (e.g. summer, fall, spring; fall/spring; or fall, spring, summer). This is not a summer job. Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and teachers. Ability to integrate technology for enhanced learning experiences. A passion for teaching and commitment to fostering student growth.
