- $32 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Writing skills Working with students Organizational skills Adult education Early Childhood Education Full Job Description Seeking tutors with experience to work with students after school Monday through Thursday from 3 pm to 7 pm.
Duties:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in various subjects and grade levels
- Assess students' academic needs and develop personalized lesson plans to address their specific areas of improvement
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and resources to enhance students' understanding and engagement
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other educational professionals to support students' learning goals
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special needs or learning disabilities
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and other educational professionals
- Excellent organizational skills to plan sessions and track student progress
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success
- Flexibility and adaptability to adjust teaching methods based on individual student needs and learning styles
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed academically
Note:
Experience working with children in early childhood education, adult education, or special education settings is highly desirable. Experience tutoring or teaching required.
