Math & Reading Tutor - Homestead Location Amigos Tutoring | Homestead, FL About Amigos Tutoring Since 2015, Amigos Tutoring has helped students throughout South Florida build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and achieve long-term success. We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Math & Reading Tutor to join our Homestead team. If you are bilingual in English and Spanish, enjoy working with students, and want to gain valuable hands-on experience in education, we would love to hear from you. Position Overview As a tutor at Amigos Tutoring, you will work with small groups of students in a structured and supportive learning environment. Our curriculum and materials are fully provided, so there is no lesson planning required. Tutors play an important role in creating a positive experience for students while helping them grow academically and build confidence. Responsibilities Lead 1-hour small-group tutoring sessions (1-4 students per hour) Teach math and reading using provided curriculum and instructional materials Maintain a positive, organized, and welcoming classroom environment Open and close the center during assigned shifts Communicate professionally and respectfully with students and parents Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking required) Strong academic skills in math and reading Ideal for high school juniors/seniors or college students pursuing experience in education Must pass a proctored math and reading assessment before hiring Availability required Monday-Friday from 2:45 PM-8:15 PM Must be seeking a long-term opportunity with at least a 1-year commitment Why Join Amigos Tutoring?
