Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our ABA Treatment Center Team. The candidate must have experience working with students of various ages with disabilities and experience teaching Access Points. This role involves developing engaging curriculum and utilizing various differentiated teaching strategies. The Tutor will be part of the treatment team. All students have one-on-one ABA support during tutoring sessions to assist with student engagement. Responsibilities Teach Access Points curriculum at participatory level to small group of students Implement curriculum that aligns with Access Points standards and student interests Utilize learning technology to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement if appropriate Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to provide updates on progress and areas for improvement Manage group dynamics Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly Skills Experience working with students in an educational setting, particularly Exceptional Student Education Flexiability in curriculum development skills to create effective lesson plans Proficiency in using learning technology to facilitate instruction Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues. Effective student engagement abilities A passion for educating children and helping them achieve their academic goals
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must have experience implementing Access Points curriculum (Florida Standards Access Points) with students who have special needs Must hold, have held, or be eligible to sit for a state teacher certification exam Must be able to commit to at least one consistent 1-hour time block between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday Experience working with students with disabilities and adapting instruction to meet individualized learning needs Join a dedacated team committed to help childred gain more opportnuies in life.
