$35 per hour About Us We are a growing tutoring business providing high-quality, highly individualized academic support to students from elementary school through SAT preparation. Unlike worksheet-based tutoring centers, we focus on concept-driven, instructor-led tutoring tailored to each student's learning style and academic goals. We have been in business for over 5 years and currently deliver approximately 200 to 250 educational hours per month , supporting families throughout the greater Miami area. Position Overview We are seeking a part-time Elementary School Tutor to work one-on-one with students across all core subjects, including math, reading, writing, and foundational science. Tutors travel to students' homes and conduct hour-long individualized sessions focused on skill-building, confidence, and long-term academic growth. This role is ideal for university students interested in education, psychology, child development, or related fields . Responsibilities Provide one-on-one, in-home tutoring for elementary school students Support students across multiple subjects, including math, reading, writing, and homework help Adapt instruction to each student's learning style and academic needs Reinforce foundational skills and build academic confidence Communicate student progress with parents and the tutoring team Travel locally to student homes for scheduled sessions Qualifications (Required) Strong punctuality and reliability Bilingual in English and Spanish Strong foundational knowledge of elementary-level subjects Comfortable working with younger students Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally Strong communication and interpersonal skills Previous tutoring or childcare experience is a plus but not requiredPay:
