Duluc Learning is a growing tutoring center dedicated to helping elementary students build confidence and succeed academically through engaging, hands-on instruction. We are looking for a passionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Part-Time Elementary Tutor to join our team during the school week. If you love working with children and want to focus on teaching—not lesson planning—this could be the perfect opportunity! Position Overview As an Elementary Tutor, you will provide high-quality instruction in reading/language arts and math to small groups of students in Kindergarten through 5th grade . Groups are carefully matched by academic level and are limited to no more than three students , allowing you to build meaningful relationships and provide individualized support. Responsibilities Teach engaging reading and math lessons to small groups (maximum of 3 students). Foster a positive, encouraging, and supportive learning environment. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the Director as needed. Communicate professionally with the Duluc Learning team. Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to teach. The Best Part? We do all the planning for you! All lesson plans, materials, and activities are provided. No lesson planning or curriculum development required. Simply review the prepared materials and focus on delivering great instruction. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (or currently enrolled in an education program). Experience working with elementary-aged students (teaching, tutoring, classroom assistant, etc.). Strong knowledge of elementary reading and math concepts. Positive, patient, dependable, and energetic. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
