Company Overview Prep Academy Tutors is a private in-home tutoring company. We deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs to our students. We specialize in all subject areas and cater to students ages four to twenty. We hire only the best-certified teachers or those completing their degree in Education and pay much higher wages than the industry average. Job Summary We are currently seeking in-home AP Chemistry tutors in Sarasota! As a tutor, you will work one-on-one with students to provide personalized support and guidance in their academic pursuits. Whether you specialize in AP Chemistry, science, or a variety of subjects, we are looking for dedicated professionals who are committed to helping students succeed. Join our team and make a positive impact on the next generation of learners! Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge from the AP Chemistry curriculum. Provide supplemental assignments to students to help promote a greater understanding of the material. Provide remedial and enrichment support for students. You communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress. Qualifications and Skills We are looking for teachers or soon-to-be teachers who can meet the following criteria: Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with experience teaching. Committed to providing excellent customer service. Enjoy working with students & families. Great communication skills. Strong knowledge of AP Chemistry concepts and curriculum. You are qualified to teach in a U.S. state. You are a current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching credential. You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. college or university. You have significant experience teaching or tutoring AP Chemistry or college-level Chemistry.
