What We Offer (Benefits) $15-$17 per hour starting pay Paid training on Mathnasium's instructional methods Flexible part-time schedule Supportive, professional team environment Opportunities for leadership and growth across multiple centers Meaningful work helping students succeed academically Responsibilities Provide high-quality one-to-one and small-group instruction as an Advanced Math Instructor Teach and support students in Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics Create a welcoming, engaging, and productive learning environment Build confidence, independence, and critical thinking skills in students Track and communicate student progress with Center Managers and staff Follow Mathnasium's instructional standards and teaching practices Support daily center operations and collaborate with the team Work closely with other instructors, teachers, and leadership Requirements Strong math proficiency in Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics (required) Friendly, professional, and student-focused demeanor Ability to connect with both students and parents High School Diploma or GED (some college preferred) Experience working with children is preferred Interest in a teacher, tutor, or advanced instructor role Must pass an upper-level math proficiency test during the in-person interview Schedule & Availability This is a part-time Advanced Math Instructor position with flexible hours. Most shifts are in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends . We are seeking long-term instructors and teachers who can stay with us throughout the school year.
