Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-person, one-on-one tutoring sessions focused on the student's ACT/SAT preparation goals Deliver targeted instruction in ACT/SAT Test Prep for an 11th-grade student Strengthen essential test-taking skills, including reading comprehension, math reasoning, grammar, vocabulary, and analytical skills Teach effective ACT/SAT strategies, pacing methods, and time management techniques Adjust lesson delivery and instructional approaches based on the student's individual academic needs and learning style Create and implement personalized lesson plans, practice exercises, mock tests, and supplemental learning materials aligned with ACT/SAT content Track student progress, identify areas for improvement, and modify instruction to support continued academic growth Maintain a structured, engaging, and supportive learning environment that encourages confidence and independent learning Travel to and conduct tutoring sessions at the assigned location in Brookhaven, GA 30319 Communicate regularly with the coordinator regarding student progress, attendance, and scheduling updates Commit to approximately 1-2 hours of tutoring per week
