Position Overview We are looking for tutors who can provide individualized instruction in one or more of the following areas: SAT Preparation ACT Preparation Mathematics (Pre-Algebra through Calculus) Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science) Academic Support and Study Skills This is a flexible, part-time position ideal for teachers, retired educators, graduate students, college professors, or professionals with strong academic backgrounds. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions Develop personalized instructional plans based on student needs Track student progress and communicate with families when appropriate Assist students in building confidence, organization, and effective study habits Prepare students for standardized tests and academic success Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred Strong content knowledge in mathematics, science, and/or standardized test preparation Teaching, tutoring, or educational experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation Ability to work afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends Compensation Competitive hourly rates based on experience and expertise Flexible scheduling Opportunities for both in-person and virtual tutoring About Savannah Educational Consultants For over 20 years, Savannah Educational Consultants has helped students achieve their academic and college admissions goals through personalized educational support, tutoring, and college counseling services.
