Location Statesboro Campus - Statesboro, GA Department Information Department of Mathematical Science Job Summary The Student Assistant will support the Department of Mathematical Science as a Peer Leader Tutor in MASTER on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2026 Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Responsibilities Assists students by answering subject-specific questions and helping them overcome mechanical problems Works with students to improve problem-solving skills Provides assistance with computerized learning components of classes such as MyLabMath, Open Math, etc. Shift Specifics Up to 15 hours per week Flexible with schedule of availability Shifts available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University. MATH 2242
