In this vital role, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support student learning, foster inclusive environments, and implement instructional strategies tailored to diverse learners. Your commitment will help create a positive and engaging atmosphere where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Start Date:
ASAP Duties Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities across various subjects, including literacy, math, social emotional learning. Support students' individual learning needs by providing one-on-one or small group instruction, especially for students with disabilities or autism. Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive classroom behavior and maintain a respectful learning environment. Help supervise children during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and other school-related events to ensure safety and engagement. Support classroom organization by preparing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Communicate effectively with students and staff to support student progress and address any concerns promptly. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, private schools, or similar environments is preferred. Knowledge of special education strategies and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with childhood development principles. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers and students Ability to manage classroom activities confidently while maintaining a positive demeanor. Experience working with individuals with autism or disabilities is highly valued.
