ANNOUNCEMENT
Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for one part-time, non-union Nursing and Health Sciences Tutor in the Center for Teaching and Learning division.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
: In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, the Nursing and Health Sciences Tutor is responsible for providing additional academic support to Nursing and Health Sciences students. The part-time tutor will work with students individually and in groups providing tutoring in Nursing, Health Sciences related courses, basic skills and study skills. The tutor will streamline communication when connecting students with other support systems within the college.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree in Nursing required. Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above required. Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred Ability to assist with computerized instruction and online courses as needed.
STARTING SALARY
: $18.90 per hour, up to 9 hours per week
