Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking several passionate, caring, and dynamic Math Tutors & Instructors to inspire learners in Grades 1-12. This role involves delivering engaging lessons while utilizing innovative learning technologies to make math accessible and enjoyable. As a Math Instructor, you will be trained to teach using the proven Mathnasium Method™ , delivering personalized instruction based on each student's unique needs and goals. All curriculum and materials are provided and there is no homework to grade and no lesson planning required. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while honing your your own skills across a broad spectrum of mathematical and education disciplines. Skills Must be on an advanced, Honors, or AP math track and have completed or be currently enrolled in at least two years of high school math, or possess the experience/mastery of high school level math. Must be available to work at least one day per week, Monday through Thursday, between 3:30 PM and 7:30 PM. Sunday hours are also available. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate students and foster a positive learning environment. Should be friendly, outgoing, responsible, confident, flexible, professional, trustworthy, passionate, enthusiastic, and energetic All candidates must successfully complete an Employment Test, which includes written math problems up to Algebra II. Experience working with students requiring special education or additional support services, and/or advanced math skills such as Calculus and Statistics is highly desirable.
