Posting Information Butler Community College is an equal opportunity employer Posting Information Position Title Professional Nursing Tutor Job Duties The purpose of the Professional Nursing Tutor will be to support student success through, but not limited to, tutoring and mentoring. In addition to tutoring for Nursing, the expectation is the professional tutor will also be able to assist students with support courses required for the pre-nursing and nursing programs. The position requires flexible work hours which will include tutoring in El Dorado primarily and potentially the Andover campus. Butler Community College offers a very generous benefits package. Must have strong organizational and communication skills. B. Must work well in a team environment and have excellent interpersonal skills. C. Must exercise independent judgment and demonstrate good time management skills. D. Must exhibit flexibility in scheduling of tasks and responsibilities. E. Must be able to tutor all nursing and related courses, with limited review and increasing expertise. Required experience A. One year of teaching or professional tutoring in a related field is preferred. B. Active or recently inactive nursing license. C. Experience preferred in competency-based instruction, computer-assisted instruction and learning management systems. Required educational background A minimum of an associate degree in nursing is required.
