Position Category Other (Student Services) Title McKinney-Vento Targeted Tutor Description McKinney-Vento Targeted Tutor 5 positions available; 1 per 4 schools and 1 itinerant. This position is designed to provide intensive academic support to students identified under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act. Tutors will work within assigned schools during the regular instructional day to provide supplemental academic interventions focused primarily on literacy and mathematics. Services may include push-in classroom support, small group instruction, and individualized tutoring designed to address learning gaps and improve student achievement. Must hold a valid Kentucky teaching certificate. Strong communication and collaboration skills required. Experience in intervention instruction preferred.
