In this role, you will provide personalized instruction in calculus and related fields, including trigonometry, differential equations, and higher-level math topics. Your expertise will help students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve academic success. Responsibilities Deliver engaging one-on-one or group tutoring sessions focused on calculus and associated subjects such as algebra, geometry, and statistics Develop customized lesson plans that align with students' individual learning goals and curriculum requirements Utilize learning technology tools to enhance understanding and facilitate interactive learning experiences Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies accordingly to maximize comprehension Foster a positive, encouraging environment that promotes curiosity and active participation Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and lesson plans for ongoing evaluation Qualifications Earned Bachelor's degree Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics at various educational levels, including higher education or adult education settings Strong knowledge of calculus, trigonometry, differential equations, algebra, geometry, Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively Demonstrated ability to motivate students and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Tutoring assignments take place between 3pm-8pm during the week, and part of a weekend day is required.
