In this role, you will empower high school students to excel academically through engaging instruction, personalized support, and innovative learning strategies. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire students to reach their full potential, fostering confidence and a love for learning across diverse backgrounds. Duties Deliver engaging in-person instruction tailored to students' individual learning styles in STEM and ELA subjects Adapt curriculum materials that meet state standards and address diverse student needs Provide targeted tutoring in science, mathematics, English language arts, or/and SAT preparation to improve academic performance Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional approaches accordingly Support students from various cultural backgrounds by creating inclusive, respectful learning environments Requirements Experience in tutoring or teaching high school students in STEM or ELA subjects Knowledge of instructional adaptability Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students Ability to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and adapt to different learning styles Demonstrated writing skills and experience in lesson planning for various age groups Passion for education, patience, flexibility, and a commitment to student success This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to student achievement while honing your teaching expertise.
