Math Tutor-80% in-person

Responsibilities:

• Provide tutoring sessions to middle and high school students in Math, Physics, SAT & ACT-prep
• Develop individualized lesson plans based on students' needs and learning styles.
• Utilize learning technology and additional resources to enhance student's experience.
• Assess students' progress and provide feedback to parents & employer.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents, if requested.

• Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Physics or Engineering..
• Experience tutoring or teaching Math, etc
• Strong knowledge of the subject matter being tutored (e.g., Math, Science, English)
• Familiarity with curriculum & lesson planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to educate and present information effectively to students of different ages and backgrounds
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate students' availability

Preferred Skills:

• Experience tutoring middle and high school students.
• Knowledge of special education strategies and techniques(preferred)
