The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching, strong knowledge of math concepts—including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics—and the ability to adapt lessons to diverse learning styles. Duties Deliver engaging one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions focused on grades 7-12 math curriculum, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics. Develop customized lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to each student's needs and learning goals. Utilize various learning technologies and digital tools to enhance understanding and facilitate interactive lessons. Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly. Support students with homework help, test preparation, and comprehension of complex concepts such as differential equations, data structures, organic chemistry fundamentals, and biomechanics where applicable. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and employer to track student progress and address individual challenges. Qualifications Minimum of two years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience in mathematics for middle and high school students. Strong knowledge of math topics including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, statistics and related STEM fields such as Mathematics, engineering or computer science. Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for diverse learners. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with teenagers. Familiarity with special education strategies and working with students requiring additional support is a plus. Ability to manage group dynamics confidently while maintaining a motivating atmosphere. EXPERIENCED MATH TUTOR
with a strong Math educational background!
Topics to be tutored included:
Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, pre-Calculus and AP-prep. This role involves working closely with students to enhance their understanding of math concepts and problem-solving skills with the goal of increased mastery. Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience. The Tutor will create a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages student engagement and understanding! Duties Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Develop educational materials that align with curriculum standards. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance. Experience Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of subject matter, particularly in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry & Calculus.
