GENERAL DESCRIPTION

DESCRIBING ROLE
): The tutor to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the Massachusetts State Curriculum Frameworks across the school day. The tutor implements informal assessments of students, data collection as appropriate, and progress reporting to parents.

: Holds an appropriate DESE educator license Ability to handle a multitude of varying and complex issues Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to use technology effectively
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
(NOT
LIMITED TO
): Planning reading curriculum and providing the daily instruction to all students as a whole group or a focus group. Providing 1:1 or small group support to special education students Regular and on time attendance is required for support of students. Other duties as needed.
