About Parker River Tutoring:

Since 2010, Parker River Tutoring has taken a whole-student approach to education, boosting academic confidence and restoring harmony to families across the North Shore. As we experience tremendous growth, we are expanding our team.

Position Overview:

Our math tutors work with students from 6th to 12th grade to build both confidence and math skills during each session. All sessions are one-on-one, and take place either in our office in Topsfield or online. This is a part-time, flexible position paid hourly, with hours scaling based on seasonal demand and company needs. You will work directly alongside the tutors and leadership at our Topsfield location and be supported by our team as you work with your students.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Leadership & Student Support (Direct Tutoring): Maintain an active, elite tutoring roster, delivering personalized math instruction from middle school math through Precalculus. Model best practices in anxiety reduction, executive functioning, and customized learning plans.

Qualifications:

The Math Expert:

Exceptional proficiency in mathematics, with the proven ability to confidently tutor and explain concepts from middle school math through Algebra I/II, Geometry, and Precalculus. Calculus and Statistics is a plus!!

Logistics:

Ability to work on-site at our Topsfield, MA office.

Job Type & Schedule:

Part-time, hourly (variable/as-needed basis). Perfect for a retired educator, a school teacher looking for leadership experience, or a career tutor looking to expand into administration.

Pay:

$35.00 - $50.00 per hour
