Auxiliary Programs Rate:

Bancroft School Campus Schedule:
Afternoons, approximately 3:30-5:30 PM, based on student and tutor availability Position Overview Bancroft School's Auxiliary Programs is seeking certified teachers to provide one-on-one and/or small-group academic tutoring for students in Grades K-8 . We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced educators who can provide engaging, supportive instruction tailored to each student's individual needs. Tutoring sessions take place on the Bancroft School campus during after-school hours. Areas of Need We are currently seeking tutors with experience in: Reading & Literacy Mathematics Orton-Gillingham General academic support for students in Grades K-8 Responsibilities Provide individualized academic support based on each student's needs and goals Develop engaging lessons and activities that reinforce classroom learning Communicate professionally and positively with students, families and faculty Maintain a supportive, encouraging, and student-centered learning environment Collaborate with Bancroft's Auxiliary Programs team as needed Provide tutoring sessions on the Bancroft School campus Qualifications Must be a certified educator Experience working with students in Grades K-8 Strong knowledge of the subject area(s) being taught Orton-Gillingham certification/training preferred for literacy-focused positions Strong communication and organizational skills Patient, engaging, and enthusiastic approach to working with students Ability to build positive relationships with students and families Compensation & Schedule $80/hour Afterschool availability between 3:30-5:30 PM Tutoring schedules are arranged based on student and tutor availability All tutoring sessions must take place on the Bancroft School campus How to Apply If you are an experienced, certified educator interested in providing high-quality after-school academic support, we would love to hear from you.
