About us Grade Potential is a leading provider of personalized, in-person tutoring services nationwide. With flexible in-person tutoring opportunities, subject variety, and a dedicated support team, we ensure tutors have the tools they need to thrive. About the student 12th grade student The student needs to work with a tutor for support with math (Algebra 2) and English. They would like one tutor for both subjects. The student is a 12th grader attending Governor Thomas Johnson High School. She is falling behind academically and is struggling to submit assignments and complete work in both her math and English courses. The goals are for the student to complete her assignments independently, improve her grades, and boost her confidence and motivation to graduate high school. The family wants 1 hour sessions 2 times a week, between 4:30pm-9pm, on Tuesday or Thursday or Friday. The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Frederick not far from Waverly Elementary School. Qualifications Ideal candidates have prior experience working with high school students. Ideal candidates will have prior experience teaching/tutoring high school math and English. Ideal candidates will have a teaching certification. Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles) Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor. Student Availability
