Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and encouraging tutor to work with students in grades 6-12, helping them gain confidence and achieve academic success. The ideal candidate will provide motivational support while assisting with various subjects.
Requirements:
Education:
A college degree is required. A degree in education or special education is preferred but not necessary.
Experience:
Previous tutoring or teaching experience with middle and high school students is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong subject matter knowledge relevant to grades 6-12 curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to motivate students and foster a positive learning environment. Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs. •
Availability:
Flexible hours, including daytime, after-school and potential weekend sessions.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in agreed-upon subjects. Develop personalized learning strategies to address individual student weaknesses. Help students build self-esteem and a positive attitude towards learning. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to update them on student progress. Maintain a supportive and engaging atmosphere during all sessions.
