Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Tutor to inspire and empower students who are struggling with learning to read. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in fostering academic growth, confidence, and a love for learning. Your enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication will help students unlock their full potential through personalized instruction, engaging lesson plans, and effective classroom management. This job is in person at our Potomac location. Materials will be furnished but feel free to add your own flare and signature on your lessons. Multi-sensory teaching strategies are a must! Duties Develop and implement customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student goals. Deliver engaging tutoring sessions using multi-sensory strategies Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement. Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles, including special education needs and early childhood education. Assess student progress regularly through informal assessments and provide constructive feedback to students and parents. Support literacy education initiatives by developing reading and writing skills tailored to each learner's level. Skills Excellent tutoring and teaching skills with experience working with children of different ages and abilities. Knowledge of special education strategies to support diverse learners effectively.
