QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 60 college credit hours. Experience working with elementary and middle school children of diverse backgrounds. Experience with teaching/tutoring in math and/or reading desired. Ability to follow directions and work independently. Ability to communicate clearly with children and adults. Ability to use technology in a professional setting including digital learning platforms

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide math and reading support using evidence-based supplemental curricular supports for identified TI students including supplemental instruction Collaborate with classroom and Title I teacher Keep accurate records of student progress and interactions Provide support for TitleI families and TitleI family night events

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Demonstrate mastery of whole number, fractions, decimals, and percentages in computations

REASONING ABILITY

Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions. Implement and enforce school procedures, rules and the AAPS Rights and Responsibilities guidelines Demonstrate initiative in handling situations Demonstrate leadership Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills
