Edina, MN Job Details Part-time $39 - $40 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications General academic student support English Experience working with high schoolers Math Working with students Full Job Description Job Summary Seeking a Tutor for high school Math, Science, Language Arts. Role also involves building study skills/strategies. You will tutor 2 students in their home one to two weekday evenings and possibly on weekends if schedule works. Role may also involve ACT prep.
Hours per week:
2-4. Duties Tutor will familiarize him/herself with each students' curriculum, assignments, and assist in preparing / studying for tests and provide tutoring for completing assignments. Provide targeted tutoring in science, mathematics, English language arts, and ACT preparation to boost student confidence and performance. Assess student progress regularly by checking students' grades, assignments due, and track any missing work to make sure students are on task. Strong background in each subject area Prior experience tutoring or teaching ACT preparation is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students effectively.
Pay:
$39.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 - 4.0 per week
