THIS IS A DISTRICT-WIDE POSITION
•Support Nursing and other Health profession students in achieving educational goals by providing tutoring and study strategies appropriate to courses. Primary Duties Performed Support nursing and health professions students by providing tutoring, which includes helping build confidence, develop a study plan, take notes effectively, apply lecture material to clinical situations, understand course material, etc. Provide test prep sessions. Communicate regularly with faculty and colleagues to establish appropriate support to students. Market tutoring services to students and faculty. Healthcare professions may include Respiratory Care, EMS/Paramedic, PTA, OTA, Dental Hygiene, Surgical Tech, Radiologic Tech, and Sonography. Tutoring may include reviewing concepts in Anatomy & Physiology. Qualifications/Experience Associates degree or higher in nursing or other profession you will tutor. Empathy, patience, organization.
